Special technologies, Ltd. was founded in February of 2006.
The main activities at that time was growth of Lithium Triborate LiB3O5 (LBO).
Today Special technologies is focused on the development of CO2-lasers and systems based on them.
Scope of research activities are:
— gas analysis based on laser photo-acoustic spectroscopy (including gas analysis for medicine);
— development and production of laser sources and systems based of them;
— development and production of tunable laser sources in the mid-IR and THz range;
— laser systems of cutting, engraving, labelling.
Today, Special technologies possesses unique R&D laboratory, including laboratory of of up-to-date electronics, optics department, crystal growth department, workroom for mounting of printed circuit board and machine-shop.
The team of our company advantageously consist of a young engineers, graduates of Novosibirsk state and technical univerities.
Some of our enineers have an scientific experience in Max-Born institute for Nonlinear Optics and Short Pulse Spectroscopy (Berlin, Germany).
Special technologies in close collaboration with research institutes (V.E. Zuev Institute of Atmospheric Optics SB RAS, Institute of Laser Physics SB RAS, Institute of Automation and Electrometry SB RAS, Rzhanov Institute of Semiconductor Physics SB RAS) and universities (NSU, NSTU, TSU, SSMU).
Special technologies has 8 patents and more than 40 publications.
Special technologies is regular participant of International exhibitions such as:
